About Me: A Journey of Reclamation

Hi, I’m Lucie.

 

I’m not a fan of titles, but if I had to describe what I do - I'm a integrative wellbeing practitioner, space holder, mentor and eternal student of life.

My work revolves around one thing: self and collective reclamation. In a world that often tells us who we should be, and cuts our connection to nature - I believe we need spaces to explore, express, and restore - spaces where we can strip back the layers of conditioning, reconnect with our truth, and rediscover our place in the natural world. 

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

I was born and raised in the Seychelles, surrounded by nature, adventure, and a deep sense of freedom. But like many of us, life wasn’t always smooth sailing. I was the rebellious kid - the one who questioned everything, who never quite fit into the mold. I spent years feeling lost, restless, and searching for something I couldn’t name. I hit rock bottom more than once, made mistakes, and struggled to find my place in the world.

Leaving Seychelles was a turning point. I left feeling broken and empty, but in that emptiness, I found the space to begin again. Through self-exploration and intentional practice, I started peeling back the layers of conditioning and defence to rediscover who I truly am.

Over the past decade, I’ve immersed myself in movement arts, Yoga, applied neuroscience, somatic practices and holistic health. I’ve trained with incredible mentors, facilitated meaningful workshops,  hosted retreats and created nurturing spaces both online and in person.

WHY I DO WHAT I DO

We are constantly told who we should be - by society, culture, family, and institutions. But true freedom comes from understanding and embracing yourself.

My work isn’t about telling you what to do. It’s about offering tools, practices, and spaces to help you tune into your own wisdom, trust your instincts, and carve out a life that feels aligned with who you truly are.

Like many, I often feel caught between resistance and surrender - resisting the destruction and injustices I see in the world while surrendering to the natural flow of life. This paradox fuels my work: helping others cultivate presence, autonomy, and connection.

WHAT I'VE LEARNED

The key to life is presence (as cliché as it sounds).

Healing isn’t linear - growth comes in waves.

We are more resilient and capable than we realise.

True freedom comes from understanding and embracing yourself.

Self-expression is not a luxury—it’s a fundamental need.

We don’t have to agree on everything to be kind, compassionate, and connected.

Knowledge is only power if it’s understood, applied and integrated. 

Why isn’t self-awareness and emotional intelligence the foundation of our education? It would change the world, it for sure would’ve changed mine. Empowering people to understand themselves, cultivate compassion and embrace openness would create a ripple effect of positive change.

This question drives me. While I often want to bulldoze through the toxic systems around us, I remind myself that true change begins within, by challenging myself to do better, nurturing my community and living consciously and sustainably as much as possible.

The Four Pillars of Self-Reclamation

We are not one-dimensional beings. True self-reclamation means understanding and embracing every layer of our being - mind, heart, body, and spirit.

These four pillars - Mindfulness, Openness, Vitality, and Evolution (MOVE) - create a holistic framework for connection, growth, and transformation. Think of them as the missing pieces to your puzzle, guiding you toward clarity, balance, and a deeper sense of self.

This approach moves beyond outdated, guru-centric wellness models and prioritises personalised, multidimensional growth - where you learn to trust your instincts, find your truth, and step into your wholeness.

MINDFULNESS (Mind)       Presence & Clarity

Your mind shapes your reality. Presence is the key to clarity, focus, and emotional regulation. By cultivating mindful awareness, we create space to observe our thoughts, understand their origins, and navigate life with greater intention.

Openness invites us to embrace vulnerability, compassion, and authenticity, deepening our relationships and emotional well-being.
